Immediately after the TaTME congress in St. Gallen, JACK was introduced to DaVinci robot. PD. Dr. med. Bernhard Dauser and Mariam Vedadinejad, MD (St. John of God Hospital, Vienna) used JACK on a right hemicolectomy for a number of reasons: "The smart tubing for local smoke evacuation and the ambient light, which are integrated in the inner ring of JACK, make the procedure even safer and more efficient," explained PD.
